Privacy Policy
Last updated 28 June 2026
This policy explains what personal information karthikonteddu.com (the “Site”) collects, why, how it is used and shared, and the choices you have. We aim to collect as little as possible.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The Site is operated by an individual sole proprietor based in India, who acts as the data controller for the information described here. To reach us about privacy, please use the Contact & Support page.
2. Information we collect
- Information you give us — such as your name and email address when you contact us, subscribe, or make a purchase, and any details you include in your messages.
- Transaction information — records of what you bought and when. Card and banking details are handled by our payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
- Technical and usage information — collected automatically when you visit, such as approximate (non-precise) analytics about page views. We use a privacy-friendly analytics setup that does not use tracking cookies or build advertising profiles.
3. How we use your information
- to provide and deliver the products and services you request;
- to process payments and send receipts or order confirmations;
- to respond to your enquiries and provide support;
- to send service or transactional messages, and — only if you opt in — occasional updates you can unsubscribe from at any time;
- to keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.
4. Payment processing
Payments are processed by Stripe. When you pay, your payment details are submitted directly to Stripe, which acts as an independent processor under its own privacy policy. We receive confirmation of the payment and limited details (such as the last digits and card type) needed to manage your order — never your full card number.
5. Cookies and analytics
The Site uses minimal storage needed to function (for example, remembering your light/dark theme preference) and privacy-respecting analytics that count visits without identifying you personally. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the Site, and only as needed, including:
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Hosting and content-delivery providers — to serve the Site securely;
- Email and form providers — to receive and respond to your messages;
- Authorities or advisers — where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
7. International transfers
Some of these providers process data on servers outside India. Where information is transferred internationally, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.
8. Data retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes above — for example, transaction and tax records for the period required by law — and then delete or anonymise it.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, update or delete your personal information, or to stop sending you optional messages. To make a request, contact us via the Contact & Support page; we may need to verify your identity before acting.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit (HTTPS) and trusted processors such as Stripe — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep risks low.
11. Children
The Site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and material changes take effect when posted.
